Beautiful individual and unique hand stitched vintage cotton Kantha quilt with fine stitching. Now with an Indigo over print which has created a wonderful colour and texture. 

This quilt has been resist over dyed with a natural indigo, so this fabric will fade over time. This quilt is double sided. 

This Indigo resist dying method uses unique geometric and floral designs carved onto wooden or metal blocks, this ancient craft has been preserved and handed down for generations, making it an integral part of Rajasthan's rich textile heritage. 

Because of the nature of this quilt, there are patches, sometimes holes and repairs within the fabric.
