Seaside Sideshow Fairground Painted Board - Lifebuoy

This is a hand painted figurative comic board from Wookey Hole, Somerset. Similar to some of the work by DC Thompson. 

There are 4 different designs and the original use is unknown, however they were specifically commissioned for Wookey Hole as part of the seaside amusements / fairground attraction. 

Late 20th Century in date, hand painted on hardboard. 

Overall Measurements - 74cm wide by 110cm high.

Overall in good condition, with some discolouration to the backs in places.
